Disclaimer: John owns me. I own nothing.
( By anyone’s measure, John's audience with Gregory Magnus requesting permission to ask for his only daughter's hand in marriage could not have got off to a less auspicious start. )

I’m very into simplifying my life right now. (Except most of the time, my life hates me and won’t let me do it.)
In that spirit, I did a spur-of-the-moment friends cut in the early hours of this morning. It was radical in terms of how many I cut, but not radical in terms of who I cut. It was basically just people who haven’t updated in more than six months, and/or people I haven’t spoken to in forever. It was still difficult, though, because I’m quite a maudlin person, and some of those cut were people I knew from my first days in fandom back on YTDaW. But the time had come.
Nevertheless, if you’re reading this and feel you’ve been treated unfairly, by all means, make yourself known.
But enough of the sad stuff. NEW PROFILE. Because I finally accepted that it was out of hand. Not because I wanted an excuse to use that picture. It has basically been pared down to the things that are currently relevant to my interests. (All my current movies have Gwyneth Paltrow in them. I refuse to acknowledge that this is anything but a coincidence.) Yes, yes, yes, with the little tiny picture thingies. I’m so original.

Nov. 16th, 2009 12:37 pmSON OF LJ CLEAN-UP.
I finally deleted all the useless/inactive/don't-care-anymore comms off my watch list.
There was also a minor friends cut, but I'm pretty sure I only deleted people that I haven't spoken to in, like, over a year, so I doubt anyone actually reading this right now has been affected.
However, if anyone feels like they've been treated unfairly, by all means, speak up. :)
So, with that, I think my LJ is finally sorted. I'm sure a new layout would complete the transformation, but I still love this one too much.
